Reviews
Very pleasant little campsite. Relatively small campsite with very friendly owners. Dinner choices are simple but very decent, fresh bread every morning. Swimming pool is covered and heated. The sites for tents/caravans are sheltered and surrounded by hedges and trees. Toilets and showers are cleaned regularly and are very nice. Overall we had a very pleasant stay! The cooperation with the He'enalu surf school works really well.
We had an excellent stay, nice small camping, not too busy, very cozy. Clean an proper facilities. Very quirt after 22:00. Not too expensive. We did not make use of the pool, but it seemed very nice.Located close to the beach
Quintessentially French campsite about 2km from a fantastic beach. Lovely owners. Toilets and showers are spotlessly clean - a little dated but I think it adds to the charm. Pool and BBQ area are great. If you're camping then the road can be a little noisy in the mornings. Pitches are a good size, take a long hook up cable as the each electric point serves several pitches and potentially could be a little distance away.
There was a bit of renovation work being done when we stayed hence 4stars. Would definitely go back.
A great little campsite with a nice pool, friendly owners and good facilities. A couple of minor niggles - bring your own toilet roll because it often runs out, and beware lights out in the facilities (timing inconsistent).
The last two weeks was the second time that we visited this camping. There are various accomodations and facilities. We were very satisfied by our stay and would definitely recommend coming here if you are looking for a nice quiet place where you can also do a lot.
Accomodation(s):
Camping Kerlaz provides camping spots for tents, many different cabins and a variety of mobile homes. We stayed in the latter and we were very satisfied with our stay. The mobile homes provides all your basic needs like a shower, sheets for your bed, cutlery in the kitchen and etc. Everything was perfect and clean, except for the shower where it took some time for us to figure out the heater. There were also no scissors available, which is logical as they tend to break much faster than other kitchen tools.
Facilities:
In and surrounding the camping are facilities and activities which are suited for everyone. The camping itself owns a warm swimming pool with cover. There are also some spots with slides and etc. which are meant for small children. Kerlaz is also about a 3 minute drive from the beach where you can surf (Recommend is the He'enalu surfing school, where we had lessons for about a week).
Apart from activities the owners of the camping have also provided public toilets, washing machines, a small restaurant / food place, a welcoming reception and in addition various food stands are invited everyday. The latter consists of things like biological foods, crêpes, local foods and etc., which provide quality and tasty meals and groceries.
I could mention many more comments, but these are the facilities and activites which we utilised and were very satisfied about. It is, again, definitely recommended to visit this place.
Small and perfectly formed. We chose this campsite by chance and what a lucky find. Small and quiet and only 2 km from one of the best beaches, lovely fine golden sand with great surf for bodysurfing/boogieboarding (also surf school which I was tempted to do but only there for a few nights.) Good facilities, spotlessly clean but bring your own toilet roll, its always run out. Its all unisex toilet and showers which surprised me at first but its very private and actually means better use of facilities so for once my wife wasn't in a queue and the men are in and out. If we'd had young children it would also make it easier because the parents aren't split up. We are definitely going back - for longer.
Great camping for surftrips and discovering east Bretagne. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend!
Excellent little camping, close to the beach. Clean, quiet, cozy and very nice facilities.
